You are invited to the RAWCS Eastern Region meetings to be held as follows:
- On the weekend of 21st and 22nd February 2009,
- At venue to be advised.
This is an ideal opportunity to talk to the "experts" and find out more about the various programmes of RAWCS. I would like to encourage all International Service Directors in particular to come along and anyone else from you club who is interested. If you are unable to come yourself I would like to encourage you to send a representative from your club.

Background to RAWCS Eastern Region General Meetings

RAWCS Eastern Region hold their general meetings 4 times a year. The meetings are hosted by each of the Region's 7 Districts in rotation thus providing Rotarians from each District an opportunity to be involved and gain a better understanding of this programme of Rotary. There are 3 sessions. Saturday afternoon which is usually a training session, Saturday evening, which is a dinner, and the general meeting is held on Sunday morning. (More details of these sessions are given below.)
Districts in Eastern Region are: 9650, 9670, 9680, 9690, 9700, 9710 and 9750.

Saturday 21st February 2009

Afternoon Session

Training Session 2:00pm to 3:30pm:
For new and existing RAWCS representatives and District Leadership Teams.

Afternoon Tea 3:30pm to 4:00pm

Special Management Meeting - approx. 4:00pm to 5:00pm:
For available members of the Management Committee

Other Committees and Groups - approx. 4:00pm :
Activity Group Coordinators are invited to hold their Committee Forum meetings which will be reported to the General Meeting on the Sunday morning. Committee Chairmen should communicate their intentions regarding these meetings directly to their committee members.

Cost: Usually there is a $3.50 charge for afternoon tea.

Saturday Evening - Dinner

Time: 6:30pm for 7:00pm:
Venue: tba
Cost: The cost is $35 per person
Partners and friends are very welcome.
Dress: Smart Casual.
